The Ashby Statutes Fun Fair

Get ready for five unforgettable days of fun, thrills, and tradition at the Ashby Statutes Fun Fair! Held every year in September in the heart of Ashby de la Zouch, this historic fair transforms the town centre into a buzzing carnival packed with jaw-dropping rides, classic attractions, delicious street food, and entertainment for all ages. From the dodgems and waltzers to the big wheel and fun house, there’s something for everyone. Steeped in over 800 years of tradition, the Ashby Statutes is more than just a fair. It’s a celebration of community, heritage, and pure family fun.

Opening Times

  • Friday 12 September: 4pm – 11pm
  • Saturday 13 September: 12pm – 11pm
  • Sunday 14 September: 12pm – 8pm
  • Monday 15 September: 4pm – 10pm
  • Tuesday 16 September: 4pm – 10pm

Car Parking

There are a number of car parks available around Ashby de la Zouch, including North Street Car Park, Hood Park Short Stay Car Park, South Street Car Park, or the newly opened Money Hill Long Stay Car Park just a short walk away from the Town Centre.

Road Closure and One-Way System

Whilst the fair is in town, Market Street and Brook Street will close and a comprehensive one-way system will be in operation. Road users are advised to access the town centre by foot and if they can’t, to plan ahead and prepare for traffic delays, particularly around peak travel times.

Temporary bus stops will be in operation on North Street on The Green, and South Street near the car park.
